*"I had only been learning to horse ride for 6 months so I was a bit nervous and excited about my stay in Mirow.
The horses were all very friendly and very well looked after. I rode 3 of the horses, Benapi, Wena and Weffer and felt very comfortable on all 3 of them. One thing I really liked about the horse riding was every time you went out you always went a different route so you always got to see a different area when you were out. My highlight of the horse riding week was the 6 hour trek back to Mirow, this was the longest I had ever been on a horse and it was excellent - this was the thing I was most nervous about as well !!
The Motyl family/Jean and Darren were very welcoming and made you feel at home the minute you arrived in Mirow. The accommodation was excellent and I especially enjoyed having a dip in the the pool after we got back from horse riding. Every day you enjoyed a different dish of home cooked food which was freshly prepared each day.
Overall I had a fantastic time and would rate this holiday 10 out of 10, I had no complaints (well only the rain) !! Value for money was excellent as not only did this include accommodation, horse riding and meals but airport pick-ups and we also got took to Krakov for the day which was excellent.
This holiday has proven to me that you can achieve goals which you think are out of your depth and given me the confidence to continue with my horse riding lessons. If you had asked me 2 years ago to go on a horse riding holiday I would have said "no way" but after this year my mind has been totally changed.

*"What a splendid holiday! I had a fab time, people, horses, food and accomodation were great.
The horses were matched well to our abilities, with a chance to swap if we weren't comfortable, or even just fancied a change. The countryside was amazing, so much open space - much better than the UK - the lack of gates was very noticable! The long trail ride was awesome too, as were the shorter faster rides.
Jean made the whole holiday easy to book - just one email and done! The transfers from airport were arranged for us, so there was little for us to do other than turn up!

Just a line to say it was great to meet you at last and to let you know
how much we enjoyed the week in Poland with you and the Horses. We had a
wonderful time and the weather was lovely as you know. The region was
absolutely beautiful and the people were very friendly.
The day trip to Krakow was really good as well. We cannot fault the
holiday in any way and the other people there at the same time were really
lovely and we all got on so well. The horses were very well behaved and
we had no problems with them even though we are beginners.
We would love to return next year, so please could you let us know of the
dates .

*"Firstly I should say this is the second time I've done this holiday as an experienced rider. Last year I went alone and made wonderful new friends. This year I returned with one of them and did it all again! The following statement would definately apply to both holidays.
It's just great riding, in the beautiful countryside of ancient poland, no gates and very few roads or cars. Plenty of wildlife and lots to explore.
The family are lovely people and make sure you are at home in their home. Jean & Darren are always on hand to keep you company and sort out any hitch. There's plenty of nice homemade traditional food and lots of laughs and fun.
The horses are very well behaved and well cared for and all a treat to ride especially up 'castle hill', where take off can be vertical! The long ride was packed with excitement and a real adventure, with great weather for most of week. And a warm welcome at the overnight stop.
Special thanks also for getting me to Auschvitz, it was awesome. Wonderfull holiday, even better than last year.

The rides we did were amazing and I will never forget the mad gallops over the stubble fields!! :-D
The horses are amazing, with a range of characters in the herd!
The 2 day ride was tough, but so enjoyable and felt like a big achievement at the end as there was some serious steep inclines and banks to get down, and the horses took it all in their stride!
Ala, Dominique and Marta made us all so welcome, and meals were homecooked and plentiful!
The area was amazing, with the castle just over the road from the house, and a shop 5 minutes down the road, quite literally!
It was great to ride in the heat and then jump in the pool!
